The Lord is My Shepherd

P1070630 copy

“The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want….”

Like a good shepherd, He is looking after me.
I am struggling at the moment. My plantar fasciitis is seriously objecting to the amount of walking I am doing on a given day (10km+) and its draining me of energy and enthusiasm to do anything.
Yet each morning, I’ve been getting up, hobbling to the lounge, drawing near to God and finding Him there.
It has been so inspiring to visit my favourite devotion site, Proverbs 31 Ministries and find that through their daily devotion God is talking to me and encouraging me along every painful step I take.

Praise The Lord, that when we are down, He finds us and picks us up!

About Cheryl

I am a child of God, a wife and a mother of 4 children. Some days are good. Some days are frustrating. Some days are just plain insane. In between the mayhem, I loved to go for walks with our mutt, potter in the garden and enjoy the beauty that surrounded us. That all changed in August 2012 when we waved goodbye to our mutt and garden, our eldest at Uni in Gloucester and moved to Tokyo for 4 months. And yes- we are still here...
