Each week as part of the 40 Days of Smiles, I promised that I would share what has made us smile each week.
Of course the first week has been short, but being the first week, it has been met with lots of enthusiasm. I’m sure the challenge will be later when the novelty has worn off.
So our Top 5 Smiles this week are:
1: K let me wear her clothes quite happily. She normally says “Fine!” (E)
2: I put my clothes into the wash without Mummy asking me. (J) {This put a smile on my face!}
3: I generally feel positive about life. (C)
4: I helped Mummy by going to buy some milk. (K)
5: Enjoying watching my children challenge themselves and enjoying themselves at the climbing wall. (C)
So those are my top smiles this week.
What are yours?
Smile 1 – Both girls deciding without my input that they would give up chocolate and sweets for lent – and it lasted until 6pm on Ash Wednesday when my Cousin Sue admitted there was Rocky Road for pudding as she didn’t know about the lent plans!!!
Smile 2 – The enjoyment had by under 10’s running and playing in muddy woods!
Smile 3 – Seeing a friend get married and realising that I’m an ‘old’ friend complared to their other friends!
Smile 4 – Going Running with G – 1.2 miles in 18 minutes! “Mummy can you hold my hand please! Mummy can we walk now please!”
Smile 5 – Realising that there was only 35 days till our holiday!!!
Your smiles definitely put a smile on my face. 1.2 miles in 18 minutes- think that would wipe a smile off my face. Especially if I had a child in tow! Well done!!
Love smile 5!!
