Friday’s Five Smiles- Week Five

Each week as part of the 40 Days of Smiles, I promised that I would share what has made us smile each week.

Fridays Five

So our Top 5 Smiles this week are:

1: Enjoying a fun night out with my friends to celebrate my birthday.
2: Enjoying the warm fuzzy feeling I get when I look at the cards K placed next to my bed.

3: Being able to make the most of the opportunity when we had an amazingly warm day and head out to my allotment.
4: Being able to help a friend who is about to leave, by having her kids over for a play date after school.
5: Finishing my first book of 2015- Gone Girl. ‘Whoop! Whoop!

So those are my top smiles this week.

I am a child of God, a wife and a mother of 4 children. Some days are good. Some days are frustrating. Some days are just plain insane. In between the mayhem, I loved to go for walks with our mutt, potter in the garden and enjoy the beauty that surrounded us. That all changed in August 2012 when we waved goodbye to our mutt and garden, our eldest at Uni in Gloucester and moved to Tokyo for 4 months. And yes- we are still here...

What did you think of Gone Girl? I absolutely loved it.

  I enjoyed it. The characters have stuck with me, I didn’t like any of them, Amy especially.
  I had no idea what to expect next so thoroughly enjoyed all the twists and turns!
